YOGA classes at Foreman & Jones, Hythe.

Erica Rasmussen will be running these classes on Tuesday evenings from 6pm for 90mins.

Classes start on Tuesday 19th January 2010 and run for 10 weeks.

Here is a small snippet about Yoga practice
-

'Yoga is a practice of breathing into stillness. Breathing is motion. Motion returns to stillness. It is the point when motion pauses that we find the deepest connection and paradoxically the most freedom to move. The spine responds in a wave like movement from the motion and stillness of breathing. From the spine the movements flow outward into the body and release back to the spine. In this unified way, we can respond in yoga postures as though we are being breathed through the posture as a complete and whole being. This is the essence of Yoga: To unify our mind, body and spirit in breathing and moving into our dynamic still centre.'
